Situated on Fleet Street opposite the Royal Court of Justice, Bell Yard Dental can be found in an architectural terrace building. Despite being new to the area – we arrived here in July 2015 – our current practice has been established for over 20 years and is already trusted by patients at our Croxley Green surgery.

When asked what made them want to start a new practice, Co-Director of Bell Yard Dental, Dr Paaras Dhanani says: “We wanted to provide an unrivalled ‘all in one’ service to all patients. We take preventative care very seriously, and also conduct restorative treatments and cosmetic procedures to the very highest level.”

Dr Dhanani’s partner Dr Nimesh Patel adds: “Paaras and I also genuinely want to help people. There is nothing more satisfying than relieving someone of pain, or re-building a smile they have been ashamed of for years, and seeing them leave our practice with a (healthy) smile on their face.”

Being an independent practice also allows Dr Dhanani and Dr Patel to “deliver the care we see fit. Our dedicated team and lack of head office means we are able to provide the time, flexibility and resources we need to offer a truly unbeatable service for our patients.”

Dr Dhanani and Dr Patel have spent their time building a practice that is supported by a team of compassionate, like-minded individuals. Each member of staff attends regular courses to keep them up-to-date with advancements in the industry and along with regular investments in state-of-the-art equipment, patients can rest assured their teeth and gums couldn’t be in better hands.

Fillings are typically made from a mixture of mercury and other metals called amalgam. In the majority of cases they offer a hard-wearing solution to cavities (holes caused by decay) but many are put off by their silver-grey appearance.

Today, thanks to advancements in dentistry, fillings are made from a number of different materials – you can even get more aesthetically pleasing white fillings. These fillings are made from composite and can be used to discreetly treat breaks, cracks and holes in the teeth. You can even have your existing amalgam filling replaced with a composite alternative.
