About the Business
Clays Construction is a family run business. Started in 1971 by Jack Clay, the company has grown in reputation to become known as a housebuilder of exacting quality with unprecedented attention to detail.
Its developments have traditionally been located in Addingham, Ilkley and Skipton. However, more recently Clays completed Manor Farm, a development of 26 homes in the much sought after village of Thorner near Leeds. The properties were designed to blend with the long established stone houses of the village. Such was their success that the development and one of the homes received the Highly Commended accolade in the recent Federation of Master Builder Awards.
Today, Ian Clay leads the company making sure that he maintains the personal attention to detail instilled in the business by his father.
