Econ Construction fully comply with the the Environmental Protection Act 1990, and in addition, we enforce our own policies that are implemented in each contract. Bricks, timber, slates, cobbles are cleaned and reused on new developments throughout the UK. Some sites such as hotels, hospitals and churches contain hidden treasures and we have discovered some interesting items, some of which are resold, others are given to museums.
Some medical equipment retrieved from jobs that no longer meets EU requirements is donated to third world countries. Econ has its own mobile plant to conduct crushing and screening onsite. This consists of a complete recycling system, the crusher is innovative technology which processes rubble, concrete, asphalt and stone cost effectively into a excellent final product.
