Crown Reduction - Reducing the overall size of the tree, where the crown has become oversized & out of shape, this procedure restores the crown to a manageable size, allowing the tree to regenerate to a more natural shape.

Crown Lifting - Removal of lower branches to increase light and space at the base of the tree. This is common practice for clearance for vehicles is 5.2 metres (17 feet), and for pedestrians 2.5m (8 feet) where trees overhang footpath or highways.

Crown Thinning - Removal of a proportion of secondary branches to produce a uniform branch structure without altering the overall size or shape of the tree. Especially useful where trees are in close proximity to your property or causing heavy shading in driveway garden or areas.

Pollarding - The removal of the crown back to a branching point, used to control a tree's growth. Once a Pollard has been initially carried out, this process should be repeated on a cyclical basis every 3-5 years, depending on the tree species.

Precision Felling & Dismantlement - The complete removal of a tree down to ground level. This work involves the careful lowering of branches and timber so as not to cause damage or destruction to surrounding plants and structures. The stump will be left as close to the ground as possible but will be above soil level. Where required we can provide access & crane equipment to aid removal.
