About the Business
David started out serving an apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner achieving the status of Site Agent having taken qualifications right up to ONC (Ordinary National Certificate). During this time, David worked as a subcontractor for several national companies such as R Durtnell & Sons Ltd, Arnold & Nathan Ltd, and Oakcraft Ltd. Through these companies, David worked for the National Trust, Mary Rose Trust, and John Hine (Lillyput Lane). David originally went self-employed in 1985, and founded Jeffery and Borrer Ltd in 1992. David's partner retired in 2005, and from this point on the company became Jeffery and Dunne Ltd.
Nigel started plumbing 27 years ago after he left school. He served an apprenticeship with R Vinall Ltd based in Henfield for 4 years at the Brighton College of Technology, achieving a qualification in City & Guilds Craft and Advanced Craft in all aspects of plumbing and heating. Nigel is Gas Safe qualified, and a member of the Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineers.
