Boiler/heating Installations
We provide many plumbing and heating services and new boiler or full heating systems is one of them. Some systems can be brought back to life with a bit of work but these will still remain inefficient. We will advise you on the best system for your property as a combi boiler is not always the best solution. When replacing a boiler or full system, there are a few important factors that would need to be taken into account so your boiler can be sized correctly.
They usually are your water pressure and flow rate, gas pipe sizing, number of people who live in the property, number of bathrooms and number of radiators. There are also regulations and guidelines that must be followed so a boiler cannot just be put anywhere. Usually, there are solutions to get around most problems but one thing to bear in mind is that from 6th April 2018, all newly installed boilers must have no less than energy efficiency rating of 92% and there must be time and temperature controls for all boilers.
